Nelsonís Bay Cave, Robberg Nature Reserve, Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route, Western Cape.

120000-year-old archaeological site on the Robberg Peninsula. This desirable residence with uninterrupted sea views looks out from the Robberg Peninsula. It has been inhabited by Strandlopers for over 120000 years and has yielded more than 250000 artefacts. Furthermore, it is a record of local environmental changes and how its residents coped with them. Part of the site is preserved as a museum.

Plettenberg Bay is on the N2 east of George, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N12. Travel south from Plettenberg Bay towards the Robberg Nature Reserve.† AHNelson
