An exclusive, fully catered tented camp with a captivating wilderness atmosphere and that all so important, high quality catering. Visitors can rough it in luxury, so to speak.† Ten safari-style tents, each tastefully furnished with twin beds and permanent en-suite bathroom, on an elevated wooden platform, are carefully situated to ensure a complete privacy.† Each tent has its own balcony overlooking the river. A raised thatch and timber complex comprises the central dining area, lounge and bar.† Each day begins with a game drive, followed by a hearty brunch.† Dinner is announced at 20h00 by the trumpeter using a traditional kudu horn.† A good jacket and warm clothing are advisable for night drives.† Insect repellent is a must during summer.

The lodge is on the banks of the Nkomati River southeast of Badplaas, which is on the R38 east of Carolina, which is on the R36 north of Ermelo, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N11 and the N17. Travel south on the R541 from Machadodorp, which is on the N4, via the Skurweberg Pass to Badplaas. To get to the lodge, travel southeast on the R541 from Badplaas.
