26000-Ha in the southeastern lowveld. The rugged terrain is a challenge to the enthusiastic hiker.† Vegetation is typical of the semi-arid regions with species such as mopane, baobab, acacia, terminalia and combretum present. Miombo woodlands line several hills and a colony of cycads lines one of the many cliff edges. Game includes the endangered black rhino, leopard, hyena (hyaena), jackal, kudu, zebra, wildebeest impala and others.† Birds include martial, long crested and snake eagles, bateleur, several hornbills, francolin, guineafowl, orioles, doves and waterfowl.
