Eagles Rock stands proudly above the Umzimkulu River. Comfortable thatched cottages and a log cabin on a mountain plateau. Bed and breakfast or self-catering. Private 25-acres with pine forest. Well stocked trout dam. Natural spring water. River tubing, birding and mountain walks. 4x4 trips up Sani Pass into Lesotho, for which passports are required. Honeymoon in Kestrel or Falcon Cottage. Bring the family to Lammergeyer or Sparrowhawk Cottage. All except the latter have fireplaces. Cottages are fully equipped with stove, fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and bedding.  Evening meals on request. Horse riding, tennis and golf nearby.

Eagles Rock is off the R617 west of Underberg, which is on the R617 southwest of Howick, which is on the N3 northeast of Durban, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N3. Travel 4-km towards Swartberg and turn north towards Eagles Rock. Travel a further 3.7-km – the entrance is on the right. AZEagle
