Ezulwini Game Lodge, Hluhluwe, Zululand, Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Bush retreat in the heart of Zululand’s game reserves. In the Hluhluwe area, where towering fever trees and sand forest predominate. A winding bush road leads to four well-equipped self-catering chalets beneath a woodland canopy, as well as two tree huts and two log cabins. Relax around the campfire listening to the sounds of the bush. Enjoy game viewing and birding in open 4x4’s to see the rare suni (Livingstone’s antelope) and red duiker, African broadbill, pinkthroated twinspot and narina trogon. Early morning or late afternoon are rewarding times. Visits to internationally renowned game reserves (Mkuze, Hluhluwe/Umfolozi and the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park), fossil beds, birding areas are available by prior arrangement. Fishing in False Bay Park nearby. Zululand is one of South Africa’s most diverse regions. Try scuba diving at Sodwana Bay on the world’s southernmost coral reefs, spot whalesharks from the air and try deep-sea fishing. Glimpse the imperial world of the Zulu. River cruises on the freshwater lakes and floodplains.

Hluhluwe is on the N2 north of Empangeni, which is on the N2 north of Durban, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N3.  BBEzulwini
