Morning Glory Cottage, Venterstad, Karoo, Eastern Cape.

On Gelykfontein, a family-owned racehorse stud that was established in 1935. The present owners are the third generation on the farm. Horses from the stud participate in races all over the country.  Generations of horses all over the world can be traced back for over 300 years.  Also known for its Nguni cattle, Letelle and Damara sheep and game. Two charming cottages, each with two bedrooms and own bathroom in a lovely garden. Fully equipped with linen, towels, electric blankets, ceiling fans, hospitality trays. Kitchen and braai facilities. Karoo cuisine in our cosy diningroom.  Traditional meals including Karoo lamb.

Ventersstad is on the R58 east of Colesberg, which is at the intersection of the N1 with the N9. Adjacent to Oviston Nature Reserve, which is on the banks of the Orange River and the Gariep Dam. AXMorning
