Sani Valley Lodge, Himeville, Southern Drakensberg, Southern Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Fly-fishing and game lodge. On the edge of Linton Lake, at the foot of spectacular Sani Pass. 106-Ha of superb trout fishing in 1500 acres of unspoilt grazing in the buffer zone of the uKhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site. This private park has many game species indigenous to the area, including eland, wildebeest, zebra, reedbuck. Otter and waterbirds inhabit the shallows of one of the finest trot lakes in the area. Lodges built of logs on stilts close to the water for excellent views over the water to the mountains that surround Sani Valley. Clear mountain springs form the focal point of the gardens and terminate in two rock pools that divide the lodges.

Himeville is off the R617 southwest of Howick, which is on the N3 northwest of Durban, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N3. Turn right in Underberg towards Himeville.  Travel through Himeville and turn left at the crossroads to Sani Pass. After travelling for 9.5-km on a gravel road, turn left at the Sani Valley Lodge sign.  Follow the road for 3-km to the Lodge. BASani
