Gluckstad is on the R34 southeast of Vryheid, which is on the R33 south of Piet Retief, which is on the N2 southeast of Ermelo, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N11 and the N17.
From Melmoth: Take the R34 northwest towards Vryheid and turn right at Gluckstad. Travel 24 km to Swart Umfolozi. Turn right and travel 17 km to Thangami gate. It is a gravel road from Gluckstad.
From Vryheid: Travel southeast for 34-km on the R34 from Vryheid to Gluckstad. Turn left and travel for 34-km to Swart Umfolozi. Turn right and travel 17-km to Thangami gate. From the main gate, follow the signposts to the Spa. Reception is the third building on the right. Open daily from 08h00 to 17h00. Late arrivals report at the bar and restaurant. ASThangami
