Comment of Anon Tulbagh Resident:
What the article doesn't mention is that it is very well know by Tulbagh locals that the amenities in this campsite are in a SHOCKING state of disrepair as a result of total neglect by the local Municipality. The Municipality is seemingly not interested in addressing this problem and has not done so for years but just continues on its path of self-enrichment of polically connected individuals within the Municipality. A really sad state of affairs...

Comment of John Meyer:
When the Motorcycle clubs hold their annual rallies at this venue, they generate enormous amounts of capital, to the owners and to business in town, which can be used for uplifting this beautiful facility it is sad that the New South Africa has allowed this deterioration, come on Local Authorities become accountable now "PROVE YOU CAN DO SOMETHING RIGHT" Showcase this town as you have MANY visitors DAILY !!!

Comment of Pierre de Jager:
Die 2013 ABSA Cape Epic kom weer, soos vorige jare deur Tulbagh. Dit is uiters skokkend dat hierdie toeriste dorp se karavaan park in so 'n skokkende toestand is. Die Witzenberg munisipale raad moet nou optree en hieraan aandag gee.

Comment of Carl:
this article refers to how this park used to be 15 yrs ago. I popped in there while in Tulbagh 2 weeks ago, Feb 2013. The place is a disgrace. The braais and electrical point are smashed, the road is borken up that I coukd bearly drive around the park. The wash up area and ablusions are disgusting. There was a burst water main at one of the toilets left to run. The trees an grass are totally over grown. The river is so overgrown i could not see the water. A shocking state of affairs for a place that was once a beautiful spot and tourist attraction for the town! Fix it you lazy bastards!
