Private Nature Reserve in the Witteberge.  Leopard and Bushmen Rooms. Self-catering chalet accommodates 12. “Wildebeestfontein” rustic lapa. Hiking, game viewing or horse riding with an experienced guide. Mountain biking (cycling). Sleep over in Caracal Cave with an adventurous climb up “Jacob’s Ladder” 20 hikers can be accommodated on rustic log beds. Swim in the potholes in the mountain stream. Sightings of the bald ibis and the rare Rameron pigeon.  Easy access to the Drakensberg, Clarens for trout fishing, Golden Gate National Park and the Lesotho Highlands. 

Bethlehem is on the N5 west of Harrismith, which is at the intersection of the N3 with the N5. Travel southwest on the R26 from Bethlehem towards Fouriesburg. Turn right at Slabberts, 25-km south of Bethlehem. Follow the road, crossing a railway line. Travel a further 15-km to a T-junction.  Turn right and drive for a further 2-km to a fork in the road. Take the left fork (S925) and drive for a further 3-km. Turn right at the big log to Bergdeel. AUBergdeel
