Whitewater Rafting, Ezulwini, Swaziland, Southern Africa.

Swaziland’s #1 adventure activity. Challenge the Great Usutu River in two-man inflatable rafts. Enjoy a day in dramatic African scenery amongst friendly locals and led by SARA qualified guides. Suitable for beginners as well as adrenaline junkies.  Full day trips include lunch and refreshments as well as transport from Ezulwini. Scheduled trips on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing at 08h00 and returning at 17h00.  Alternative days by prior arrangement. For the record:

• You will get wet
• Swimming skills are not important
• It is relatively safe
• You don’t need any prior experience
• You do not have to paddle your own raft
• There is no engine
• We normally portage the waterfall
• There are crocodiles in the river
• They have not eaten anyone recently
• Two-man rafts are often referred to as divorce boats
• This is Africa – it doesn’t get cold
• River guides are polite, shy, well-behaved young men
• You do not have to climb a 700 foot cliff at the end
• The beers are cold and the T-shirts cheap

Remember to bring suitable shoes, sunglasses strap, hat suncream, towel, swimming costume, change of clothes and a spirit of adventure. Leave behind valuables, jewellery, Rolex watches, weapons of mass destruction and suicidal tendencies.
