Ferry Point, Port St Johns, Wild Coast, Transkei, Eastern Cape.

At the mouth of the Umzimvubu River, with Mount Sullivan towering over it. Plenty of nature walks on the doorstep, not to mention Long Beach, which is 5-km long.  It is a quick 300-m ferry ride from Port St Johns. Spring water on tap from Ferry Point’s own spring.  Evenings are laid back and hassle-free, with comfortable and spacious rooms.  Ma Morris’ cuisine is not to be missed, especially the abundant seafood.  A 5-day hiking trail to Coffee Bay can be arranged. Dorms, camping. Shuttle from Umtata. Port St Johns is on the R61 east of Umtata, which is on the N2 in the Transkei northeast of East London, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N6.
