Fig Forest, Mkuze Game Reserve, Zululand, Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Sycamore fig trees grow 25-m tall in this forest, one of a few of its kind in the country. The forest has an amazing diversity of species. Butterflies drift on air rich with the smell of overripe fruit and monkeys and 400 bird species chatter in the trees. Mkuze is north of Empangeni, which on the N2 north of Durban, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N3. AGFig
