Hogsback Forest Walk, Amatola Mountains, Border, Eastern Cape.

Pockets of indigenous trees in this state forest clothe the sides of river gorges, and waterfalls with magical names such as Madonna and Child and the Bridal Veil Cataract, flash through the shady places. The many paths are clearly marked in different colours with a hog symbol. Hogsback is on the R345 north of Alice, which is on the R63 west of King William’s Town, which is on the N2 northwest of East London, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N6. Turn off the R63 east of Alice onto the R345 and travel north to Hogsback. Alternatively travel south on the R345 from Cathcart on the N6. AHHofor
