Whale-Watching at Kleinmond, Overberg, Western Cape.

This holiday town at the mouth of the Bot River on Walker Bay is the most wind-free stretch of this coast. The Kleinmond Coastal Nature Reserve has an 8-kilometre coastal walk along which you can explore the rock pools when not watching whales.

Kleinmond is on the R44 southeast of Botrivier, which is on the N2 west of Caledon, which is on the N2 west of Swellendam, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N15. Travel southeast on the R44 from Somerset West, which is on the N2 east of Cape Town, via the Strand, Gordon’s Bay and Betty’s Bay to Kleinmond. Alternatively, travel south on the R44 from Botrivier.
