St Michael’s United Church, Boston, Midlands, Central Kwa-Zulu Natal.

In 1882, the Anglican Church of St Michael’s and All Angels was built next to the road to Bulwer and Impendle.  Later a vicarage was built nearby and the Reverend Freer was made the first resident vicar.  In 1955 the Anglican, Methodist and Presbyterian Churches decided to form a united church.  Extensions to the church were planned and, on January 23 1997, the inauguration of St Michael’s United Church took place.  On a leafy hill overlooking a beautiful valley, this church is worth a visit. Services are held every Sunday at 09h30, except on the third Sunday of each month when it is held at 11h00.  Visitors are most welcome. Boston is on the R617 southwest of Howick, which is on the N3 northwest of Durban, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N3. BIStmichael
