Pick your own Cherries at Klondyke Farm, Ceres, Boland, Western Cape.

Come and visit us and “pick your own” cherries then enjoy a picnic or braai in the shade of the pine trees.  The season starts in mid-November and ends in mid-January, with the peak in December. Open 7-days per week but not on Christmas Day. Entry is R5.00 per person.  Note that we do not have credit card facilities.  Remember to bring cardboard beer trays or rigid plastic containers into which to place the cherries as they bruise easily if placed in plastic shopping bags.  Do not forget to bring a warm top or jersey, as the days can be quite chilly.  Ceres is north of Worcester, which is at the intersection of the N1 with the N15. From Worcester, take the R43 to Mitchell’s Pass and then the R46 to Ceres.  Pass through the town and, after a further 12-km, turn right onto the Lakenvlei Dam/Bo Swaarmoed road and continue for a further 18-km until you reach our avenue of tall pine trees.  The road is tarred all the way.
