Eye of Kuruman, Kuruman, Kalahari, Northern Cape.

In a dry land, perennial springs are more precious than gold. The Eye of Kuruman (Die Oog) is one of the most beautiful in the entire region. Gushing out 20 million litres of clear water each day, this spring feeds a pretty pond, shaded by willows. It is a well-placed and restful stopover en-route to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and Namaqualand.

Kuruman is at the intersection of the R31 with the N14 northeast of Upington, which is at the intersection of the N14 with the N10. BCEye
