Dorpshuis Museum, Oudtshoorn, Karoo, Western Cape.

This national monument, with its circular, fish-scale tower, delicate ironwork and curved verandah, is now a museum devoted to the “ostrich feather era”. It was built as a townhouse in 1910 and was owned by the Le Roux family until 1977. Oudtshoorn is on the N12 north of George, which is at the intersection of the N2 with the N12. AGDorps
