The Posthuys, Muizenberg, Cape Peninsula, Western Cape.

Overlooking False Bay is the county’s oldest habitable European-style house. It was built in 1673 with thick whitewashed walls and a stone floor. It served as a Dutch signal house and post office, and is now a museum specializing in the Battle of Muizenberg (1795). Muizenberg is on False Bay south of Cape Town. Travel southwest on the R310 from the Nyanga offramp on the N2. AHPost
