Swaziland National Museum, Lobamba, Swaziland, Southern Africa.

Next to the Somhlolo Stadium are the Houses of Parliament, the National Museum and King Sobhuza II Memorial Park. It traces the history, art and cultural traits of the Swazi people.  The exhibits evoke an awareness of the richness of Swazi traditions and customs. On display is evidence of human presence in Swaziland in the early, middle and late Stone Age. Traditional clothing, weapons and domestic utensils are also displayed. A special exhibit is an original Swazi homestead and cattle byre next to museum.  A new natural history wing illustrates the inter-dependence of nature and Swazi culture.  Across the road from the King Sobhuza II Memorial Park is a series of photographs portraying Swazi history. Included are early photographs and the external influences that shaped Swazi heritage. AVSwazloba
