Kimberley Golf Club, Kimberley, Diamond Fields, Northern Cape.

The club hosts the Barney Barnato, a nine-night/eight-day festival of golf, ribald and revelry annually in October. Rich in history, we have our own museum.  The Freddie Tait Museum is the only one of its kind in the country.  The Tait connection prompted another weeklong event – the Freddie Tait Golf Week that is held annually in March. The course, a Robert Grimsdell design with Elliot greens and Magennis fairways, has two distinctive faces.  Winter frost removes the colour and presents a fast running surface.  The summer appearance is aesthetically more pleasing and easier to play.  Visitors are most welcome to play either socially or in club competitions. The club hosts niner competitions – a half lapper – for those with limited time on Thursdays and Fridays. Closed on Mondays.

Kimberley is on the N12 northeast of Britstown, which is at the intersection of the N10 with the N12. BEKimberley
