Zimbabwe History, Southern Africa.

David Livingstone was the first white man to witness the splendour of the Victoria Falls in 1855, and today travellers experience the same sense of awe and wonder at this spectacular sight. The area abounds with wildlife and presents a unique opportunity to experience the special magic and romance of Africa.

The history of Zimbabwe’s African people has been recorded and may be seen today at the site of Great Zimbabwe, where a great city had been established, and the fascinating ruins are a remnant of that civilisation. Amongst the other attractions are the vast man-made lake of Kariba with its surrounding water and wildlife areas, and the world famous Hwange National Park and the Matobo Hills. Travel to the Eastern Highlands and explore the spectacular Nyanga mountains. AQZimbabwe
