Eagles spotted in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs

A pair of big brown eagles, together with a juvenile, have been spotted roosting in the large bluegum trees in Second Avenue just south of Harfield Village. Unfortunately we have not been able to identify the species. Anyone able to do so, please let me know. Lets put Second Avenue on the map by being one of the few streets in a metropolitan area graced by the presence of such birds. Alan McIver
